I just don’t get these types of “yay, god.” quotes. I mean, didn’t he put the storm there, too? So, if he loves us so much, why doesn’t he just stop making storms?

Another of the “Things I see everywhere on Pinterest and it seriously needs to stop” posts.

Great. Post from the point of view of a fat person blaming themselves for something that may or may not have been preventable.

Until my mid twenties, I was most often underweight according to BMI (not that that is a good measure of health, but for the purposes of this story it = I was skinny). Despite this, my thighs and other parts jiggled when I ran. It’s just what flesh does. I distinctly remember asking my mother about the jiggle and if it meant I was (or was getting) fat. Thankfully, she set me straight with an emphatic, “no”.

Moral of the story: Your never stop jiggling. This person would run until they died.

Now, some people try to post the “right” thing, by saying they want to be strong, not skinny. Of course, then they post pictures like this and we all know the ruse is up.

(This also sounds like it’s trying to be health focused, but it also skinny-shames every so gently. HAES, people.)

Of course, the pins below are the this person’s board as well, so I doubt she’s actually concerned about strength over wait circumference.

I just do not understand this attitude. If I was the husband, it would piss me off. Well, if I was the husband, I wouldn’t have married a woman like this.
