Today: Five People (or Pets) I Love

  1. My Husband: Jeremy is intelligent and loving with a great sense of humor. He is good at keeping things in perspective and knows how to enjoy life. Being his wife has been a great joy and I look forward to continuing to go through life with him by my side.
  2. My Mother: My mom did a great job raising my brother and I , and has always been there for me. Her love and support are a constant that is invaluable in my life. She is also very intelligent and beautiful. Some women fear turning into their mothers as they get older – I would consider it a great achievement if I do!
  3. My Brother: We don’t always see eye to eye and end up bickering a bit, but that’s fairly common with siblings. My brother is one of the most compassionate people I know and has a great respect for justice. He is very talented, intelligent, and kind and I am proud to have him as a brother.
  4. Our Cats, Jayne and Vera: It’s lovely to be alpha-cat in my house. Jayne and Vera often follow me around the house and relocate to chill in the same room as me. It’s nice to feel that kind of love. They can be a little pushy sometimes, but they’re always available to comfort me when I’m feeling low or just to relax near me as I unwind after work. Also, they each have a very distinct personality and are just a joy to watch as they play or interact with objects and people around the house.
  5. My Friend, Bren:  Although I don’t get to see her as often as I like, I always enjoy being around her. Bren is one of the happiest, most upbeat people I know. That said, she is also very intelligent and down to earth, often getting fired up about the same things I do. The best thing about her, though, is that she is always my biggest cheerleader. She is always so interested in and excited about things that are happening in my life, and that kind of love is just infectious.

Well, that wraps up my Five Star Challenge. I hope everyone enjoyed this little glimpse into my mind! It was fun to really think about these lists and read some of the lists posted by my friends.
